What does the name Lampuga mean?
"Lampuga", "mahi-mahi" or "dolphinfish" are three different names for a fish that we associated with our electric surfboards. (The use of "dolphin" can be misleading though, as lampugas are not related to the well-known marine mammals.) Mahi-mahi feeds on small fish. It is known for its gluttony and is among the fastest swimming fish in the ocean. The dolphinfish is a migratory species inhabiting the tropical and subtropical waters of the Atlantic, Pacific and Indian Oceans, and is also found in the Mediterranean Sea. It reaches a maximum length of about 2 meters and a weight of about 20 kilograms.

The power supply for charging the batteries should be 7 Ampere and 230-volt with a minimum of 1,5kW. While this power-supply is not provided in standard cars, it should not be a problem to charge the batteries in most of the larger-sized boats, where more powerful generators are a standard.
Can I extend the running time of my Lampuga board?
